I graduated college in 2009.

Should I delete the year on my resume? Is 37 seriously considered old?

Unless you're a new grad, you don't need graduation dates on your resume.

No and no. Thirty seven is not considered "old" on the job front. I didn't run into problems until age 44. And even that was ridiculous. Ageism in America is shameful.

In my opinion keeping or removing your graduation year is 100% up to you. It's certainly not "old" but I also assume you have some solid experience to highlight on your resume which would make it a bit less important to have.

More generally, I do have some clients who prefer to remove it and I'm noticing a trend it resumes more and more where graduation years are being removed across the board.

    I would remove it.
