You're definitely not alone. My husband has been looking since Nov 2023 and hasn't had any luck...just a few interviews, bunch of rejections and mostly no responses at all. I read somewhere on LinkedIn that the average number of months to land something is 9 months...and I'm sure that includes people taking on roles because they can no longer afford not to work!

    I’ve been looking since November as well and am in the same boat. It’s frustrating. At this point I just want to take the summer off and start again in the fall, but that’s not terribly practical. Not a fun market for candidates.
