    You may be able to find a contract position, but full time jobs are few and hard to get due to the competition. I also found that the hourly rates aren’t that great. I got a good rate at first, but then the other jobs I found went done $5/ hr less, or even more. The other thing is that the jobs are easy to cut when the budget gets tight. I had 3 contracts in the last couple of years and all three ended early..

    I have more questions than answers here but some things to think about:

    1. If you require a WFH job (non-negotiable) then have you researched specific companies that still offer WFH options?
    2. Are there are any people you know who work in this capacity that you can have an informational meeting with to learn more about their company/experience/journey?
    3. Are you open to hybrid at all? With more and more companies requiring some in person time this may broaden your options.

    While it's still doable to find a fully WFH position, it may take some more time so be patient!
