I'm getting so tired of looking for jobs now.

I'm getting so tired of looking for jobs now. Job search sites don't give you what you're looking for, and what you find either requires years of experience with such an odd range or certificates or licenses that are expensive to attain. It's wearing me down. I just want to brighten others' days and make enough money that I don't feel like I'm barely scraping by anymore. I simply want both but in an environment and field that finally feels like a fit for me. Am I asking for too much...?

If you want to brighten people's day try to find a nonprofit that you align with. They don't pay great but you can make a living. And if you are not looking for a career move but rather a more sense of purpose this might be a good fit rather than a corporate job.

Perhaps a customer success role would suit you or some other kind of support position where you help others to be successful. I think that might be a path for you though you seem to also want some kind of support yourself. Be optimistic and chirpy when you interview and always reach out to roles where you might not fit 100% but have most of what the role entails. You might just be missing out if you don't. Good luck.

    What industry do you enjoy?

You’re not asking for too much. The more companies are relying on AI to screen applications, the less of a chance we have. I have been applying for jobs for almost 2 years, after getting a second master’s degree to change careers, and trying to gain enough experience through freelancing. My age and gender, plus lack of professional experience have basically kept me out of this career path, even after all my hard work, networking, and trying to use my own professional network. Now I am applying to jobs that barely require a degree and am still getting radio silence. I don’t know what to tell you, but you’re not alone.
