Dear all,

Dear all,

I'm currently encountering some challenges in my job search journey. Despite my efforts, I haven't been able to secure any interviews yet. I'm beginning to wonder if the issue lies with the format of my resume. With that in mind, I was wondering if any of you could recommend a website or company that specializes in crafting outstanding resumes.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I have someone I can refer you go - actually two people.
Please send me a message. It's most likely not the format of your resume as much as the content.

I just downloaded a free resume AI writing app called Rezi. It's an AI writer tool that helps you customize your resume to the job you're applying for.

I'm still rather new to this AI resume wizardy (there are tons of free resume tools + resources out there) but I've heard a lot of people having success with this sort AI tool (or even chatGPT) to beat ATS systems and such.

Anyhoo, I hope this tidbit of info helps!

Don't waste your money. Keep reviewing it and adding any new experience and education you obtain. And sound like you, ignore the advice to take phrases from a posts' job description. Employers can smell desperation and exaggerating on resumes a mile away. You will be caught.

P.S. There's no "fooling" the ATS. You either have the experience or you don't.

Hi, here's a few tips: ensure that you're tailoring each resume for the role you want, not just a summary of what you've done. Communicate the impact you've made, and quantify wherever possible. Most important, embed key words that you see often in the job description, particularly key skills. That will help you get past the electronic screening system. I hope this helps!

There is no "electronic screening system" to get past.

I must say that over the last few months I had to be very creative with my personal job search.

It has been trial and error using different strategies and tools, so I can recommend a few.

    Resume/Cover letter:
    Format/keywords aligned to JD: https://www.jobscan.co/

Writing your resume: chatGPT; Use ChatGPT to help you come up with top skills/competencies and/or how to write your bullet points with measurable achievements. Here are some prompt ideas:
"Update my resume to include quantifiable examples of my capabilities using my resume".[copy in your resume]

"Please analyze my updated resume for ATS compliance and alignment to my desired role, and
provide suggestions for improvement." [copy in your resume and Job description]

    Grammar check: Grammarly.com

You can also get a free resume review (1x) on https://www.topresume.com/resume-review so I would use that once you have a good solid edited version.

All free tools. Good luck in your search!
