I have been with my company for over a year. I have always been given positive feedback. What I have never been given is a raise. My last review was an annual review, and it was written only and didn't say anything about my performance, good or bad. It just said "xx will continue to do this type of work." I don't know how to take any of this. And I don't know how to address it. Or if I should. What are the thoughts of this community? Should I let it go and say nothing? Or should I ask questions, and if so, how would I say it?

They apparently don't offer increases on any annual basis. I would ask your manager what your career path looks like and what their policy is on raises and bonuses. You should have some type of plan worked out so you know what to expect.

If you feel this way, you should address it. For me, when I dont address things, it turns into resentment eventually. A few things you can do in the meantime - look up market value for your role. Are you within the range and getting paid well or are you doing more responsibilities, better, and requesting a raise for it? Many people don't get a raise unless they ask for it.

Ask what would've made your review "excellent" what do they need to see from you ? are you already doing these things ? do they even know what they would need to see from you?

    You got this.
