    There shouldn't be.

Quite the question, I would it would be best to understand who applies for what role when and why. Men apply for roles when they don't check off all the boxes of what they're looking for. Women typically don't apply until they feel they can do each skill listed on the posted job description. Now whether, men are aware of doing this, it's a mindset, but this is from a study. Go into the interview with this nugget and possibly expect to get that from them, BUT BUT BUT now times are changing, women are feeling more empowered, and now there are different age groups in hiring leadership decisions. Stay away from slang or antiquated terms. They may not be aware that they also bring in a bias of what they want to hear and if they hear, "I've been working since the times where you had to fill out a paper application", some age groups will auto determine, unfairly and perhaps unknowingly. So, be aware of when women apply vs men and heightened awareness of the decision makers you're interviewing more than trying to figure out men v women. THAT alone is it's own topic in life, where obviously women win :)

Oh I remember the paper application days! And typing tests for jobs that had nothing to do with a typewriter! I’m 59 been working since I was 16. Well 14 as a babysitter. ?

Well, If you are being interviewed by a male, the it is a man. If you are being interviewed by a female then it is a woman. Pretty straightforward.

If you are the OP, please help the rest of us understand the context behind the question you are asking. Because while you may not understand this reply, many of us are having a hard time understanding what/why you are asking.

Women look more at how you dress, your make- up, your bag and if you will play the games that she dictates micromanaging you.

Men are more technical, in their mind is why is " she" not staying at home? why is she so highly educated, will she adapt to the boys game.

I had recently 2 interviews, and the female interviewers were x- raying me from top to down, looking at my face and trying to guess how old I am...? ( I dont wear foundation at all and no hair colouring at all - , they both end up saying that they like my bag, where did I get it..? I answered it was a present from my previous team. they got me the large, medium, and mini one...

While the men side, they just handshake and thank me for coming along to be interviewed in person.

I don't think that gender makes a difference.

Really it depends. I’ve been interviewed by both genders and there really wasn’t much difference. Both men and women have egos both can be pretty direct, really to me it doesn’t matter. Curious, what prompted you to pose the question?
