I will be having a third round of interviews at a company next week. Not sure if I will get the job, but I want to know when to disclose a coming vacation. This is not a weeklong vacation. I would basically be gone 3 weeks in Europe. Everything is already booked, paid for, and nonrefundable. Do I wait until a potential job offer to disclose?

    Upon receipt of your written offer. Many companies I've noticed actually ask you if you have commitments in place they should plan for in your first 6 months.

    It's a moot point until they make you an offer. Then just tell the recruiter - typically the sooner it's brought up, the less of a big deal it is.

    I've never had a hiring manager say they wouldn't hire someone because they already had a vacation planned. Most folks realize you're getting a new job in the middle of your life.

    I have moved start dates to accommodate a vacation so make sure you bring it up before the written offer letter is generated.
