Hello! I am a teacher who will be teaching several sections of "Senior Seminar" next year. There is no set curriculum for the class and no textbook. Does anyone who works with high school students have some resources they recommend regarding first resumes and job interviews, applying for scholarships, presenting oneself professionally, or other topics related to future success? If you have taught a similar course, what worked best for you? If you took a course like this in high school,, what was most beneficial for you? What do you wish you knew back when you were in high school that would have helped you succeed in college and/or the work force? Free or low-cost recommendations will be especially appreciated.

What does that have to do with the original question? Unless you make clear what this has to do with teaching students about success strategies to jump-start their careers, I'm going to assume this is spam The fact that the last 3 numbers of your phone number is 666 isn't a good sign! Please stop spamming this website.

I haven't created a full curriculum but I just started doing one-on-one coaching with college students on some of these same topics. If you want to reach out, I can share some of the things we worked on and brainstorm others.

OP here. I appreciate it, but my schedule changed at the last minute, so I am no longer teaching that class. Thank you for your kind offer!

This sounds like a great course, true life skills. I might consider adding in a module on basic personal finances, what a student loan commitment & understanding a repayment schedule. Also things like how to open a bank account, managing credit, etc.
