Scheduled an interview for this week through the company's interview system.

Scheduled an interview for this week through the company's interview system. Received notification that it was set the morning but when I received the invite, it's listed for 5 PM. Since I don't have the interviewer's contact details does anyone have any advice. I checked my Google Calendar setting and it's listed correctly for EST and NY. I'd appreciate your advice and I double checked that we're both in the same time zone.

Find a way to contact them, main number or email and confirm the correct time - let them know of the 5pm invite and just double check for any changes. If you don't hear from them, interview at the time you agreed and use the link (for the wrong time- unless they change it). Good luck!

I’d click into the link at 5 am, stay for about 10 minutes, then join again at 5 pm.

Reply to the invitation. Not accept, but hit reply like any email. It should go to the organizer.

In the reply section there is a place for notes. Put notes there and ask specifically for clarification as to whether it is AM or PM. Take a screen shot just in case because they may have not known it shows up differently for you.. Hopefully the time does work that is in the invite and if so just be there. And if not then decline and suggest another time that may be what you thought you signed up for.

i suspect the lack of clarity is a symptom of user or setup error with the scheduling tool used by the company. Could you tell what system they used to schedule? Sometimes that can be discerned by the link that takes you to the scheduler. Believe it or not some of these systems are sophisticated enough to route any reply to either the recruiter or at least document ir system so I agree with other suggestions to send reply email just in case.

Let us know how it goes!

Be prepared for both. Test the link ahead of time, as it may show you the correct time.

I would contact whomever is the company HR rep for hiring. They are most likely the one who is doing scheduling for interviews. This is most likely a slip up on their part. This is too important to leave for a chat box or hope that someone will reply to a general email box. I look at things like this as part of testing to see if you have what it takes for a position. Handling small challenges like this shows you can make clear decisions and think creatively.

i doubt its at 5am just a thought though
