Trying to stay positive...

I know that there has been post on staying positive while searching for a job. Family, I'm struggling. My current work environment and position as a recruiter has led me to taking medication for depression (I suffer from depression but have kept it at bay until this position). I'm trying to stay positive but the ghosting and the automatic rejection emails from my fellow recruiters has become unbearable. I have a good background in recruiting, stable positions and a good resume so I thought. Any advice on how to move forward and stay positive?

Don't spend more than a couple of hours on your search at one time. Get regular exercise outside in the sunlight and fresh air.

You are in this for the long haul so you must pace yourself. Your selfcare is paramount. Eating well, exercise and meditation and prayer are all great ways to stay in balance and help you stay positive.

It's very tough but can be managed and helped.

I also listen and watch short comedy YouTube videos. Laughter is a huge healer for me.

Thank you. I would like to transition out of recruitment. Great suggestion regarding searching for other opportunities.

I'm so sorry you are experiencing this. My immediate thought is, are you networking while applying ? and does your resume demonstrate your unique value?

Remember this : You only need one person to say YES.
