    Hi Pam!

Have you considered taking a career test? There are a ton out there - but one I've heard decent things about is jobtest.org.

You could also do a sear of jobs that are a fit for your skillsets. For example, I completed my Masters in Adult Education this past September. While my dream is to teach at a college - the skillset and degree opens me up to opportunities like creating seminars for a work environment, after-school programs for adults (GED, ESL, etc).

    All the best!

There are mountains of tests, evaluations and advice online. You must understand your personality and then cross that with your interest then match the results with job descriptions and jobs available.

I would look for contract or temporary employment. They tend to pay fairly well and also give you the opportunity to try something new and determine if it's worth dedication yourself. You can also speak with your leadership and let them know you are needing some change in your career and see if they are aware of any potential opportunities that might align with your experience.

    Hi Pam!

What an exciting time! Knowing you want something different and not knowing which direction can feel tough and frustrating I'm sure, but it's also an exciting time of exploration and you are in the right time for it. We are in a time where you can literally make money doing absolutely anything that you want to do.

I would recommend a few key factors to explore a bit more would be:

What do you enjoy doing? (Personal and Career)

What are your current skill sets and giftings? (Personal and Career)

Then I would put pen to paper or fingers to keys and have a blank document. Sit still in peace and then ask yourself this question and don't hesitate to start writing the first thing(s) that come to mind, as often we already know but through life and trials and tribulations, we talk ourselves out of what our gut tells us...

    Here's the question!

IF you knew you couldn't fail, what career(s) would you go for?

Once you are done, take a look at all you have noted and do some research. IF not sure where to turn I would recommend finding a Career Coach or a Mentor/someone that is already in the field/role that can help you in reaching the goal, especially if embarking in unfamiliar territory.

    Hope this helps!

    Coach Olivia
