If your Co-worker is contented with the same position why would you need to change or fix her? If she didn't seek change or not ready then don't pressure, force or change her. Even though you climbed up on position on a short period, it doesn't mean that you are stable there in the company, your older colleagues know better and your behavior may come across as annoying and end up collectively against you behind your back.
