I have been looking at several reverse recruiting agencies. They are expensive. Has anyone else used one? Are they really worth the cost?

   Are you referring to a head hunting service? I was a recruiter and we called it showcasing. In that we had a great candidate and found them a job through our employer contacts. Have I visited one of these agencies, yes, would I use them, no. They were awful. You would be putting a lot of trust and not to mention money into what you can do on your own. Go to a staffing firm and a reputable one (Google those in your area), and get connected to a real live recruiter. It's a far better investment as I was connected to hundreds of candidates and kept in touch all the time. I had a high placement rate as well because of my connections to people. Job searching is a people business. Headhunters are only as good as your level and who they know at your level. I think it's a waste of money as I did it to see but they were so awful and I knew more than they did. In the end, I got many positions through my connections. And my current one I applied and am still there after 14 years.

   Yes, they can absolutely be worth it! I used My Personal Recruiter (https://mypersonalrecruiter.com/) and they helped me land a great job. The personalized support and insider strategies made a big difference. If you're feeling stuck or just want an edge, it's a solid investment.

   I could not be more thrilled with my experience working with Find My Profession. After unsuccessfully working with My Personal Recruiter, I was hesitant to work with another reverse recruiting company. The difference was night and day. I quickly noticed the quality of work FMP was doing compared to the outsources work at My personal recruiter and within 3 months, I has 8 interviews and accepted a job offer. Highly recommend these guys.
