That’s a great field of work—are you certified for all the master mechanics certifications which will help increase your hourly pay rate . Of course finding a position is the first priority—you will want to look for places that offer full service work on the vehicles they service—like dealerships, auto maintenance facilities—some private garage service centers may need multiple mechanics because they have that many repairs. Develop a specific specialty skill and include knowledge of how to service EV vehicles in your skill set. Don’t let anyone tell you to change your chosen profession—a very needed field of work that can’t be replaced by robots.
