Hey ladies ✨?

Hey ladies ✨?

Wanted to share a little about my career journey — it’s been quite a ride with some ups, downs, and lots of learning.

I started out as a semi-qualified Company Secretary and then spent almost 4 years in the CSR space. Honestly, those were the years I felt the most satisfied and connected — the work was meaningful and fulfilling ?.

Later, I decided to explore the “corporate side” for better benefits and exposure, so I moved into procurement due diligence. But the reality was very different — there wasn’t much actual due diligence happening, and I found myself feeling stuck and drained. I held on for a year, and finally, in August, I decided to step away - even without another role in hand.

Now, after reflecting, I’ve realised where my real passion lies. My cheese ? is definitely in CSR & ESG ?. That’s where I see myself growing long-term, and to make my profile stronger, I’m currently learning Power BI and pursuing ESG reporting certifications.

I had also considered exploring AML/KYC roles since I have due diligence and compliance exposure, but I know most companies look for direct banking/fintech backgrounds. So my main focus right now is building my career in CSR/ESG.

I’m open to remote or hybrid opportunities, and would really appreciate feedback on my profile, any leads, or even just some encouragement ❤️

Here’s a quick snapshot of my experience:

Semi-qualified Company Secretary with 7+ years in CSR, compliance & due diligence

Led global CSR projects for clients like Barclays, HSBC & BP

Hands-on with World-Check, D&B, sanctions screening & risk assessment

Experience with procurement compliance (Oracle Fusion & EBS)

Currently upskilling in Power BI + ESG reporting certifications

Passionate about building a career in CSR & ESG ?

Thank you for your time, lovelies ?

I can relate to the power of female camaraderie here! I remember when a group of us at work bonded over our favorite games during lunch breaks—it really boosted our morale and teamwork. freecell solitaire
