Hi I am shayana, I am currently looking for remote graphic design or UI/UX internship of 6 months period.

I have honed a diverse skill set that includes proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, figma, blender, rhino 3d, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and after effects. These tools have been instrumental in crafting compelling visual narratives, from conceptualization to execution.

I have applied on multiple sites and LinkedIn but somehow got close to zero response for it. I would really appreciate if anyone has any lead or could refer me.

Here's link to my portfolio for reference :

Thank you in advance.

Welcome to FGB Ms. Shayana! It sounds like you have a great skill set. There are several free online sites which permit you to upload a copy of a job description and your resume, to inform you how close a match the ATS system finds it. You may have to continually fine tune your resume, and of course create a unique resume for each job you apply to. Can you create a list of people you know at various companies you would like to apply to? Don't be shy to contact them and ask if they are willing to refer you for available jobs. Your portfolio was not linked here but that is ok, perhaps this site blocks it. Continue to fine tune your cover letter to each employer, and your LinkedIn page. If no reply to applying online on company sites, consider following up to a Hiring Manager at the company with an email, attaching your cover letter and resume. Search online to see which interview questions are asked for each company you apply to. Practice your replies to interview questions. Wishing you very good luck and much happiness.

Do you have experience with 3D (Clo, Marvelous Designer), Substance Painter, Blender and/or Maya?

Any experience taking existing 3D project files and making them web-ready using the above technologies?

Building a strong portfolio is key for landing a UI/UX role. I'd recommend working on personal projects that showcase not just your design skills but also your problem-solving process. For instance, you could design a user interface for a digital platform. Speaking of digital creation, I recently explored 3d printer files and it struck me how the principles of good UI/UX are universal, whether you're designing an app or navigating a site to find a perfect model for 3D printing. Creating a project around such a niche can make your portfolio stand out. You could even prototype a custom controller or a stand for a device, showing your end-to-end design thinking. This demonstrates an understanding of how digital designs can influence physical products.
