Recipe for Survival
If you have an environment where you are valued and recognized, and you feel you truly contribute to something better, don't leave, stay, and be grateful for what you have. If you must leave because of low pay, research very carefully before you jump shop. It is rough out there.
If you are in environment where you are not appreciated, your contributions are not valued, start looking for a different job, but don't sell yourself short. In the meantime, game them. Grow a thick skin. Do the minimum so as to not get fired, but that's it. Use any spare minute to get upskilled - take classes, certifications, plan your next move. Don't expect anything from anyone. Become an observer of people's stupidity, vanity, blank ambition. See the humor in all this. Don't become like them. Fill every free minute outside work with something positive and meaningful. It is not worth selling your soul to ungrateful bosses and co-workers.
