I have an honest question being a male working often on mostly female teams. How do you navigate this especially communication wise and one's everyday presence? Code switching regarding race occurs must one also do this with gender? Retirement has been suggested but I don't think so. I'm open to hearing y'all's responses ?

That's an extremely vague statement. It's hard to advise you without more specifics. If you're clear in your communication and treat everyone with respect, you should be fine navigating your workplace regardless of the gender/age/race make up of your co-workers. Retirement seems like an extreme option to avoid dealing with unspecified "communication issues". Has your communication style been criticized by your co-workers? If so, why? Have you been warned not to do or say certain things because they're offensive? Are you having other issues with your co-workers? Have you taken any steps (read books, taken classes, gone to webinars) to correct these issues? Is this a new problem or an ongoing one? More context and detail would be appreciated so people can give you better advice.

I am reading new material, attending groups to help me improve. My answer is I don't know and to move forward from these negative career experiences. Owning my "popping off" at managers etc.
