I had an initial interview for a job I was qualified for. I was told they hired someone on the cheap. He was let go less than 4 weeks into the job.

I had another interview and feel I made a connection. I was told at the interview they have a few more people to interview. Now I run across another head hunter who was just given the job to fill.

My headhunter told me I made it to the second round. Second round will take place after they interview. I was told that the interviews would be done last Friday.

I have several short term contracts on my resume. I took the jobs during oil and gas downturn to keep paying bills. I completed each contract while continuing to look. I don't understand how anyone could not understand that keeping an income is a bad thing.

The company is still interviewing. I haven't been scheduled for the second interview because they continue to interview. Why are they continuing to interview?
