I recently worked a contract role for this staff agency located in Chicago IL. Upon completing this assignment I haven't heard back from them in over a month, and I have reached out to the recruiter but now I am being ghosted. I am finding that some staffing agency reaching out to job seekers regarding positions they are recruiting for but when a person tries to respond back to them you're being ghosted. Is anyone experiencing theses issues. Like to hear your feedback.

There is not much work given to third party recruiters these days.

Did you get paid for the work you did? Or is that why you are trying to reach them?

Yes I did get paid for the contract assignment I did. I've reached out to the recruiter to inform them over a month ago the job was over but never heard back from them again.

a lot of times recruiters at staffing agencies are compensated with bonuses by the number of new hires they can bring in. So, once you have an assignment under your belt, they ghost you. Find another staffing agency to work for and for that matter always keep 2-3 in rotation, if one doesn't have an assignment another one will.

I agree with you that recruiters at staffing agencies are compensated with bonuses when they place people. I have signed up with many of them and still being ghosted.
