I was interviewed through Microsoft team.

I was interviewed through Microsoft team. Quite a few times, only two offers had me sign onboarding documents. Then hit me with I have to pay for shipping og equipment. Then the company would reimburse me. I was so hurt again. I will not do another interviewed through Microsoft team. Right now I feel like they are only a scam. Anyonebren theough this. Still searching for online job.

They are absolutely a scam. Are you receiving a written offer? Are you doing your due diligence in researching these companies? And don't EVER accept a job where you are expected to pay for them to ship you equipment. Don't blame interviewing through MS Teams (because that is quite frequently the method used these days) but do due your due diligence when accepting offers and understand what you are accepting.

Legit companies use MS Teams all the time, so I would not rule a job out on that alone. I did an interview on Teams and was hired for a real job where I worked a year.

As the other person said, any company that expects you to pay (even with reimbursement) for equipment or shipping it is a scam.

I agree - the equipment would cost way more than the shipping and so if they have spent the money for the equip why can't they just ship it??? this is highly sus and to me does not pass the smell test.

TEAMS is not the problem. It's a tool used by most. But unfortunately it's also used by scammers to gain access to your info.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of scams out there right now and as others have mentioned you should never have to pay for the opportunity to work or for your equipment. You mention you're looking for an on-line job. What type of on-line position? Also, how are you searching and applying for positions?

First of all, that is a scam. NO legitimate company will make you pay for equipment or for shipping.

Second, that has nothing to do with Microsoft TEAMS/
