Hello all, need to crowdsource opinions. A friend recommended me for a job and according to the HR manager I have made it to the 3rd round, which is a zoom with the Director and CFO who I would collaborate closely with. She sent me that info in an email last Monday, saying that she hoped to schedule by Friday. While Friday came and went… my question is, do I follow up today (1 week after the email she sent or wait a day or so. I have been keeping my friend in the loop, but for obvious reasons she is hesitant to get too involved. Any advice would be appreciated, I want to show interest without making a pest of myself.

The other option is to reach out to the hiring manager, she was the last person I interviewed with and she indicated she wanted to move fast, as I would be leading sponsorship efforts for an event in January and they have never sold sponsorships before, so there is work to be done.
