I hope you're doing well. I've paid for resume reviews twice now, but I haven’t received any responses or job opportunities yet. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to take a look at my resume and offer some feedback or suggestions. I am looking for HR Business Partner and Employee Relations roles.

    You can also use ChatGpt to help tailor your resume and cover letters and preparing for interviews.

    Completely ignore their advice. People hiring for your roles expect to see a certain format of resume, and chances are you already know what that is. Once I used one of those services for my resume, thinking if I get xx responses with my resume, I may get more with a different style. I'm a CPA. They reformatted me in the new stylish fashion emphasizing what you did rather than when and where you did it. Guess what? CPA world didn't give me one call using that format. I put my format back the way it was and I went back to getting my usual number of responses. You know what format they're looking for. Don't fall for changing it because you were told something more up to date is better.

    Are you tailoring your resume to each position for which you’re applying? You almost have to rewrite your resume every time you submit it.

    The easiest thing to do is go to ChatGPT, and put in the prompt, “rewrite my resume (copy and paste your resume) to align with this job description,” (copy and paste job description).
