Two weeks is not enough time for a new hire to be comfortable.

Two weeks is not enough time for a new hire to be comfortable. Of course, your fellow associates would agree that you explained things clearly because they know the company, the software, and how to complete a task. Maybe the new hire should be taking notes on how to complete certain things. I am a visual learner. I have to write things down. Maybe go over sample tasks and sit with new hire to see how they would go about completing them. Every company even if it is the same type of work does things differently. And I can tell you, the new hire will feel intimidated if they feel the coworkers know that you are displeased and talking about him or her causing no questions to be asked. I would give more time.
