How do you convince your employer to add childcare benefits?
Does anyone have any resear ch or arguments I can make to my employer to subsidize childcare for working parents? I'm an expat in a leadership development program, so I'd start by asking it to be added to the expat benefit package. So far my general ideas are:
-This program is targeting people at the age where they are likely to already have or begin to have young children.
-This is supposed to develop and retain employees who will eventually become leaders. If you want to have female leaders succeed, you need to subsidize childcare.
Seems a little simplistic to me - anything I can use to back it up?
