It's hard to do because work is such a big part of your day and even identity for some people. When I was working at a job that was very draining I would immediately go to the gym after work and let everything that had built up during the day out physically. This really helped me as it acted as a reset button between my work and personal lives. I hope things get better for you!

    Words of affirmation could help:

-"I'm more than my job title or performance."
-"One bad day doesn't define my career."
-"I'm allowed to learn and grow at my own pace."
-"I'm capable, competent, and continuously improving."
-"I release what I can't control and focus on what I can."
-"Feedback is an opportunity to grow, not a reflection of my worth."

Whether having these in your notes on your phone or on a post-it on your laptop (somewhere you can easily see them), little reminders like these have a huge impact. :-)

Journal it. I have found that writing things out helps me let go of a lot of stuff. It's not a guarantee but I have found that it does help. Someone else mentioned exercising, I've found even just taking a walk can help break that mental focus on the work stuff.
