Hi fellow professionals! Looking for advice and insight regarding an interview I have later today. It’s with my dream company and I applied for an opportunity that is more junior than my experience. I have an interview late today for that role. In the meantime my dream job with this company was posted and it is a perfect fit for my skills and experience within the organization. How do I carefully inquire about my dream role without disqualifying me for the role I am interviewing for today? Many thanks for your insight especially from an internal recruiter perspective.

I think you should just be honest. Start with saying how much you would like to work for the company and wanted to get your foot in the door but did see they've opened another position that you may be more suited for.
