Last September, I started a side hustle job as a B2B Credit Card purchasing agent. I live in a major metropolitan area, and this role requires I go B2B offering low-interest credit card processing fees. I have not been able to secure any accounts, and I am disappointed and would like to consider a different field. During the pandemic, I completed a pre-MLO course Does anyone know if a Mortage Loan offer is a good field for a Mid-life career changer?

I do assume you mean Mortgage loan officer? Sure it is banking/finance related and likely quota sales like your last role. So, unless you just don't want another sales job it might be a good side switch.

As a recruiter in financial services it’s not a great time to get into the mortgage game unless you have a role with guaranteed leads and a lot of training support. The US mortgage market has been rough the last few years. A ton of mortgage professionals were laid off so you’ll be in competition with really experienced sales folks.
