Hello Divya: There are a couple job sites where you can look for remote work of various types. There is a job section in FairyGodBoss if your want to apply for employment. The direct link is: https://fairygodboss.com/jobs/find?keywords=Staff%20Engineer&location=Savage,%20Minnesota,%20United%20States&lat=44.7617&lng=-93.3432&page=1&jobOpen=false&jobPage=cvshealth%2Fstaff-engineer-android-e9719450d03367a5c59889c9db546b64&filters_remote=0&filters_cmp=&filters_cmp_size=&filters_loc=. There are other places that can be used to apply for employment as well (such as Monster.com and a JOBS tab in LinkedIn). Hope this helps. Note that FGB job postings may be old (was told by another poster).

Connect with a nationwide technical staffing firm. Do a search and read reviews before you pick one. Former IT recruiter. Be sure your resume is succinct and has all of your skills not just listed at the top but embed them in the jobs you have held. Look at jobs in healthcare, manufacturing, insurance, logistics and supply chain. Good luck!

You’re very welcome! And if you get a good recruiter they can advise on how best to make your resume standout. And being open to relocation will set you apart. Greenville SC has an enormous manufacturing presence. Thinking logistics and supply chain as well as automotive. Are are you seeking in your hometown.

Thank you so much for the advice! I really appreciate it. I’m actually based in India and actively seeking opportunities here and internationally as well. Your mention of Greenville SC and its industries sounds intriguing. Are you in the software engineering field, or do you work in a different domain? I was an IT recruiter but am now in higher ed helping companies engage and hire students. Best case for you is to find a 3rd party firm in your country. I've worked with them. They typically hold your visa, bring you to the U.S. and subcontract you out. I think Ta Ta Consulting is a big one. But applying for jobs here will be challenging as they will hire U.S. Citizens first. Try to find a company in your country that may have you travel here and work so that you can get a base in the U.S.

Thank you for your thoughtful advice and insight into the process! I appreciate your guidance about working with third-party firms and companies like Tata Consultancy Services to explore opportunities that might allow me to gain a foothold in the U.S. market.

I understand the challenges of hiring preferences for U.S. citizens, and your suggestion to work with a company in my home country that facilitates travel and work in the U.S. makes a lot of sense. I’ll certainly look into these avenues and consider reaching out to firms that specialize in such arrangements.

Your experience in recruitment and higher education adds a valuable perspective, and I’m grateful for your willingness to share this advice. If you have any additional tips or resources, I’d be happy to hear them!

You’re welcome! Connect with your university to see if they have employer contacts. Link in with others like you who are in India and are IT professionals. Seeking a mentor will help you. I hired many within your community but they came through other companies. It’s been years and I lost the contacts. But search on LI but make sure you work with a reputable one that treats their employees with respect. If you can also get certifications that will help you as long as you get work experience. Best to find work in your home country first then get certifications there then you could try coming here. But focus first on getting experience. Save money too as you will need it here.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful advice and encouragement! I truly appreciate the insights you’ve shared. I’ll definitely connect with my university and leverage their resources to explore employer contacts. Networking with IT professionals on LinkedIn and seeking mentorship is something I’ll actively pursue as well.

Your suggestion to focus on gaining work experience and certifications in my home country before considering opportunities abroad is very practical and aligns with my current goals. I’m also mindful of the importance of financial planning for future prospects.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to guide me—it means a lot. Your advice is invaluable, and I’ll be sure to put it into action!

Navigating the constant pressure of endless corporate strategy meetings often leaves you completely mentally drained by the time you step out of the office in Muscat. To effectively clear my head and shift my focus away from workplace anxiety, accessing the lightweight interface at https://om.melbet.com/en/line/cricket guarantees a highly stable connection to track international tournament updates without draining my battery on the drive home. The platform's smart caching architecture completely bypasses the heavy background scripts that usually cause smartphones to overheat in the intense Omani climate. It functions as an incredibly discreet and resilient digital escape that processes secure transactions instantly via regional payment gateways, allowing you to thoroughly enjoy your personal downtime far removed from the exhausting dynamics of office politics.
