Hi there! I have been with the dog care industry for 7 years as a Manager along with having a Management degree from Clemson University. A change up in the next few years will need to happen, looking for something more remote and flexible! Is there a possibility out there? Open to anything you guys may have experience with.

Starting your own facility seems like the obvious path. I discovered when I moved to my current home town that there were not very many choices available for boarding. Luckily, I landed amongst great neighbors who have cared for my dogs when I have to go away. I would consider partnering with a groomer and sharing space, preferably on your own property. The two businesses can attract mutual clients- people going to the groomers may need to board at some time and people needing boarding/day care might appreciate being able to get their pet groomed at the same time.
