I just got a job as a medical receptionist at an imaging clinic. And I'm having a heard time keeping up with everything? Any advice would be appreciated.

First off, congratulations on the new job!

Secondly, do you have structures to help you with the daily tasks? I am od fashioned, but years ago when I was a front office person, I had a punch list which helped me to keep on track. Even with patient files, I created a list so that they were as complete as possible when I handed them off to the practitioner.

Next, do you have someone in the office who can give you support while you train, and help you to find better ways to do things, if necessary?

It takes time to learn all the systems and get up to speed. Be sure to give yourself the grace to learn. You can do this.

Make lists to track tasks and use your calendar to organize your days.
