Ever since the pandemic, I have struggled to find full time work as an EA/Admin which I have been for 25 years. I have tried everything from applying directly to companies, recruiters, etc.

Ever since the pandemic, I have struggled to find full time work as an EA/Admin which I have been for 25 years. I have tried everything from applying directly to companies, recruiters, etc.

Everything in what I have explored are either contract only or the full time positions that are available they almost always fill internally. There used to be an organization in NYC called Gainfully Unemployed at the Manhattan Library of sciences, but they no longer exsist.

Can anyone suggest live-in person free networking events for those who are in between jobs that they have found genuinely helpful? I am over the sitting at the computer zoom thing!

    I would check Meet Up and also check the groups in LinkedIn - they may have an inperson networking group - I know other big cities like Boston and Chicago still have them.

    Check out the networks, like LinkedIn, your communitys' organizations, and we are far enough away from Covid that even a contract offer should be considered.

    If you worked in a specific industry, for example, finance, you could look for those professional associations and find ways to utilize their networking.
