I'm in progress of a career change.

I'm in progress of a career change. I'm currently attending St. Cloud State University to get a BS in Computer Engineering. I have previous electronics experience as a technician. I have a few engineering projects I work on in my free time. So I have good engineering experience as well.

I'm looking in the computer engineering or embedded engineering as I have firmware experience, or general electronic engineer positions. I'm looking for something remote or coop or anything open to working with me around my class schedule. I take remote classes but not all classes have online options. I'm open to paid internships if you are looking to hire after the internship.

Have you tried hospitals or healthcare facilities? They always need computer engineers, and ask about internships.

Your school should have a career center that could be helpful. I would also suggest start building your relationships with those who can act as references, most likely your current professors or mentors.
