I'm having a hard time landing a job as a project manager. I don't want to continue picking up gigs while I'm in school because it's inconsistent. If anyone has some advice, please let me know what I should do.

    Do you have your PMP? I am finding that many companies are using this as a quick way to filter out candidates in this market.

    I would also ensure you're networking. There are hundreds, if not close to 1000, applicants for some of these jobs. Start reaching out to hiring managers, future coworkers, etc. and express your enthusiasm and highlight your value add.

    Lastly, are you tailoring your resume to each role? There are a lot of tools out there that can scan your resume and the job description and tell you what key words you need to add.

    Finish school and prior to graduation then look, keep building skillset with needed to show experience, if you're not getting offers. One.Step.At.A.Time.
