Hi all,

Hi all,

I have a question regarding a job interview I had. I reached out to a company via their contact information on their website and they extended an invitation for an interview a few weeks later. The interview was a video call and the interviewer mentioned that post-interview she would send me a questionnaire they send to all candidates to determine a second interview round. The following Monday I followed up after not receiving the questionnaire and it has been around 2 weeks since I have heard from them.

Should I reach out again? Or is this a red flag for lack of professionalism?

Why would they say they would send a questionnaire and then not do it? I am interested in the position, but I also don't want to look desperate by sending a second email.

Did you check your Spam/Junk folder? Maybe one more follow up saying you did not receive the questionnaire and wanted to be sure they had the correct email for you. After that, I would move on.

Did you follow up by email or with a phone call? I would give them a call as 2 weeks is a long time to wait and the role might have already progressed to the next stage. If it's something time critical like this - I would only wait 24 hours and follow up with a polite message saying the questionnaire was not received.

Double-check your spam folders to ensure your email system didn't flag or delete it. Depending on how you have your spam filters set up, things like this can drop into that bucket. Gmail lets you do a full email search that includes spam and deleted folders by putting an email address or the company name in the search bar. Other email systems have similar capabilities.
