Last Thursday night i got so sick, that i messaged my boss that i was unable to make it to work.

Last Thursday night i got so sick, that i messaged my boss that i was unable to make it to work. I received a reply back that i needed a doctors note. In the 6 years I worked there, I never called in sick. We had an evaluation that day , so they ask if they may come to my house. I did not care. So they showed up. During that conversation i found out that I will get a pay cut. I had to endure for 2 years of bullying, disrespect from co worker's. Last year one coworker send sexual explicit messages to male clients, then they went out after work drinking with male clients, and nothing happened. Oh yes those clients did not return. Now this year a new coworker, where she has a full time job and works part time at this company, took my clients, complaint to the owners. I am on disability and supplement my income to pay my bills.

I am not sure what to do now, I am a senior, disabled. I do love my job, better said I love my clients.

Were you expecting a poor evaluation?
Is that why you were sick? Stress of this type causing physical illness is common. It shows that this could be the problem because you were too ill to go to work, but not too sick for them to come to your home.
Next question: Is the cut in pay going to hurt you financially? Are you receiving disability benefits? If so, contact your disability provider (SSA, for example) and see if the benefit amount can be adjusted.
This sounds like a very unhealthy environment for you, so for as long as you can, hang in there but look for other work that might have a better environment. If you can make it on your adjusted disability benefits you may consider retiring completely. It doesn't have to be permanent, just long enough to take a needed mental health break. That's what I am doing now, but I fortunately have the financial resources to manage for a while.

Is it in their employee handbook?

for example, we require a Dr note if out for 3+ days

I would recommend checking the state laws pertaining to the rules

They asked to come TO YOUR HOUSE??? What in the absolute world would ever justify that (I’m asking myself that lol)

Are you working under the table?

it sounds a bit unprofessional and chaotic that would probably poke at your own well being - if you can, I’d look elsewhere (remote?) or maybe even talk to a trusted Client for employment opportunities

Focus on yourself, your performance and your well-being. Rattling off offenses of others tells me you spend a lot of your energy keeping track of other people to somehow reflect back on the unfairness of your situation. I'm afraid it doesn't work that way.

Being senior and disabled has its own challenges. I would take care of yourself and try to focus on exemplary performance.

There must be something missing here. I'm not sure what.

Stop, they came to your house?? ridiculous, you need to set those boundaries. I don't understand that or what was shared, if you can't work you shouldn't have had them at your house. You should have gotten paid for that time. Like, what????????? Again, they came to your house................

Thank you for all the advice. No I do not work under the table. I am on Salary. I agreed for them to come to my house because I did not see another choice. I took some meds and was not going to drive. What was weird they did ask me if I will be returning for the next season. And take this time to recharge of my age and disability. I have surgery coming up. Maybe they were hoping that I quit. Nothing makes sense.

Yeah, they're trying to get rid of you. It sucks, and might be illegal, but you probably can't do much about it. Take care of yourself and invest in relationships outside of work. I was driven out of a job and I became suicidal during that time. I needed therapy and medication and time to heal.

They clearly want you gone so expect these incidents to continue.

You deserve to be treated better. You've put up with way too much crap for them to treat you this way. They want you to take a pay cut? Why? You make like your job and clients, but don't let that trap you. It's not worth it to stay there with all the problems you've had. It's time to find a new job. You can do something similar or take things in a new direction. I know it will be difficult, but at least take a look and see what other options you have.

You should not have allowed them to come you your home. You are getting bullied because you are not setting boundries or standing up for yourself. the fact that you are posting here shows you know you are worth more than this. Call an attorney and see what they can do. This is BS and employers have to stop thinking the can get away with this.

    Come to your home?
    Seriously?

Tell them you are sick and can meet at office first day back. These people have SERIOUS issues and unfortunately, lack of boundaries on your part....

I'm not there daily but it appears they are making it priority

Seriously they came to your house? No way would I let that happen. You are not being treated right. Tell your boss you need to take a mental health day next time you have to call in sick. I contacted an attorney over a boss that was mentally abusive to me at work and he said to request for mental health day and it can not be denied. If they deny it go to the dr and get a note and you could have a lawsuit. I used mental health days a couple different times and it worked.

Keep track of what's happening so if they find reasons to fire you you'll have a track record of what has happened.

But what I've found is if a company wants to get rid of someone, they will.

Hire an attorney; one that works on contingency. Also contact the EEOC. Prepare to find work elseware.

There is a serious lack of boundaries here. Just do your job while you look for another. This will not get better.
