I wear 50s inspired clothes every day - full skirts, cardigans, brooches, and clasp handbags. I get compliments all the time on my style, because it suits my figure and me.
I’m interviewing for a senior technical program manager role at a major tech company. I have over 20 years experience and I was a SW and HW engineer in the past. The office is casual, as are most high tech offices.
Do I wear what makes me comfortable or tone it down for the interview? I don’t wear pants or jeans, so they’re going to have to get accustomed to my dresses and skirts once I’m hired, but I can wear less retro options.
