How much do you spend on your partner for their birthday?

Between dinner, a gift and an activity I feel like I always end up spending more than I originally planned to.....curious to hear what other FGB'ers do!

Hmm good question. I think I've spent anywhere from $50 to $200+. It really depends on what we ended up doing though; the tough thing was my former partner's bday was REALLY close to Christmas so he got rolled into the gifts for both holidays thing.

It really depends on our budget for the year. We tend to have friends over and do the "party" at home. Gifts range from $20 to $150--depending on how that year is going financially. Often we will also do a movie. So, total spend, anywhere from $60 to $200.

It truly depends on how flexible my budget is and if I included it in the budget for the year. I usually get something he has been going crazy about purchasing or going(usually sports ticket) and spend about $250 or $400 if I choose to attend. Or I get him a few items that he needs and a sentimental date about $100.

I love buying tickets to events! I'm a big believer in experiences over things so they're one of my favorite gifts to give :)
