I recently got a full time job after. 7 long months of looking.Decent salary , remote , small staff. Thought I finally hit the jack pot. Once I started working there was no training set up. I was supposed to "figure out" processes and hot make them work for me. For example the preferred email sharing platform was mail merge mere with outlook. The program wasn't working for my computer (don't ask) instead of using alternative methods like the software they had for distribution (ieMuckrack )I was told we must do it this way. Come to find out clients were not happy when before I arrived but somehow that was my fault. I spent 2 weeks navigating IT processes and then was told I wasn't keeping up my work and was laid off. Has this happened to anyone? Now I am back looking again and nervous because it tools so long just to find that .

Similar. Huge mortgage company, hired and supposed to have amazing training. Used to be you had 3 weeks of one on one daily with a trainer. They hired sooooo many that it was now maybe 3 times a week with a trainer in an hour-long group call with 20 other people, my immediate supervisor bragged about never being in the office and the regional above him was never available and might reply to an urgent email issue with a file in 3-4 days (her M.O. being either the file blew up or resolved itself by then). If you needed IT support you created a ticket and they might get back to you in a few days, if ever (usually took 2-3 tries), but meanwhile your company laptop is so locked down that even if you figure out the problem yourself you can't do anything about it. Disorganization is rampant everywhere. Then they started laying off everyone bc they'd hired too many people. Needless to say their Glassdoor reviews are full of stories of this insanity. As much as I totally empathize with the job search...I'm in the same boat...you dodged a bullet. They don't get better with agen when they're this disorganized.
