Hi - Need more info. The opportunities are always out there. What is your background and area of expertise? How long have you been doing it? (Those questions...)

If you are in somewhat of a hurry to find a position, I would recommend getting your resume ready and posting it on one of the main job boards as well as one specializing in your background. It is usually easier to obtain a contract position because the company has an urgent need, and if you need the benefits also, you can always continue your job search while working contract, but meanwhile will have money coming in to meet your basic needs.

My general advice for anyone looking for a new opportunities:

get clear on what you're looking for

set strategic and specific goals around your job search (or example setting goals around the number of applications per week, number of networking conversations, etc.)

and tailor your resume as much as possible by both including the keywords and skills form the resume but also by thinking about your experience creatively to showcase the most alignment possible with what you've done and what you will be applying to
