The community here at FGB is great, but the job postings section has proven to be useless.

At least in my field (product design) there have not been new jobs posted in weeks. The same jobs have been featured for months now. FGB doesn't include a date posted, so there is no telling how old these openings have been up.

It's not helpful to community members to waste their time by posting jobs that are no longer accepting applications. Is this part of the platform is abandoned or broken?

    I haven't it found it to be very helpful. The postings as you noted aren't dated. The search features are limited as well, especially if you're looking for remote work. The suggested jobs are equally useless, like part time retail. I don't know if this is to drive people toward their "resume drops" or because they rely on "sponsored" job ads for revenue. Either way, it's a feature that needs to be revamped to better serve the members here.

    I value this board for the ability to converse, vent, and ask questions. I don't think it it's a good resource to find actual jobs. It doesn't seem suited to thar purpose.
