I ladies it's Saturday. I am passionate about children and have a great rapport with them. I currently hold a BA in Psychology and have taken all for the Child Development Associate certificate so that I can teach in a Pre -school. I am looking for a part time teacher assistance job. unfortunately I feel frustrated since all i currently have no work experience I have been a volunteer my whole life. It's really frustrating when volunteering is not an area on an application. I have some great experiences with children at the carnegie Science Center, the Carnegie Library children's department. currently i am helping a Psychiatrist as a contract employer. I am a 54 years young. I would appreciate any advice. thanks

I would plug all that volunteer work in as if they were jobs, and when asked for title, plug in Volunteer.

Treat the volunteer work as work (just unpaid)

I agree with other comments. List volunteer work as work and just add volunteer to the title so they are not mislead. Good luck!
