I am so depressed by the pointlessness of this job search after a year that it's a daily battle to get applications out. I played the numbers game and applied for hundreds and probably 1000.

I know there are plenty of people out there looking.
I'm not religious so please don't tell me to pray (although if you want to offer a few for my search to conclude well, that's awesome) or go down a path of toxic positivity.
I have some physical limitations that mean not every job is an option; I need a remote role, which is how I've worked since before the pandemic.
I'm so stressed the few interviews I have had lately were bad because I was just too nervous to do well.
How do I get out of this?
