I am reapplying for a job - they closed the job and reopened a new job posting for the same position; I updated my resume and my cover letter, and hope that they will consider my second time applying. Has anyone ever reapplied for a second, third, + time, and then got the call for an interview? I know I am qualified as I did something a bit similar to this role; A bit more road traveling is involved, but the community engagement is something I know.

A lot of groups within large companies (like Google) are so isolated, even the HR teams that support them are often also isolated - which means you can probably apply multiple times. The size of the company should be a clue - or, I'd just call the HR team and ask directly! Best of luck.

Yes, I had reapplied multiple times for a position I truly wanted - over a 6 year period. By the time I decided to pack it in, I had the skills they wanted for the job and they recruited me - at my non-negotiable rate +. Hang in there. If it's something you really want, go for it.

Yes I applied for an employee role at a Fortune 300 after working as a contractor. Did not get the job so I reapplied a year later and let them know that if I did not get the position I would be moving on. Got it and have been there almost a year!
