Good news to share!

After multiple rounds of interviews, which began in December, a performance task, a final interview round that was 45 minutes with the CEO and the COO, and a very thorough reference check, today I received an offer for a job that I wanted. What's more, I'll be making 35k more a year, and I'll be starting with 20 vacation days in the first year, which is twice as many as I get at my current employer. I know it's hard, and the economy is uncertain right now, but it looks like there are still good opportunities out there.

    The job market is definitely improving. Things hit rock bottom in January and have been on the upswing. My 2 friends that were unemployed recently accepted very solid offers recently so it feels better.

    Even posts here are shifting.. .
