Hi Ladies! Every day I receive a job notification from "DataAnnotation • Elizabeth, New Jersey • Remote

$40 - $50 / hr". This company needs people to identify a huge variety of info, photos, etc. to teach AI what these things are. I know the need for this is truly legitimate, but the BBB rates it as D- due to 1 unresolved complaint and length of time in business (6 months). Has anyone had any experience with this company?

    Scam

Like the others have said, it's most likely a scam. I've applied more than once and have never been given any work at all. I see them "hiring" all the time as well and I don't even bother anymore.

Run. I mean it; avoid that place like the scam it is. A BBB rating of D- means the business is either fraudulent, a scam, or so corrupt it's criminal. Stick to companies with an A+ rating, verified reviews, and a company page on Glassdoor and Indeed. If you wouldn't hire a company with a D- BBB rating,. Why ever would you want to work for the same?

Scam “job.” Too good to be true? Then it is.

I haven't heard of this one. However, I will say the pay looks very high. I'm an annotator/reviewer for ScaleAI working on their OutlierAI platform. I've been vetted through them (via my CV), and had to go through a barrage of tests. In all of the projects I've done, I've never cracked more than $15/hr. Even those with skills in, say, Python, or C++ are offered about $30/hr.

Right here! I have received a ton of their emails telling me to complete more tests and that I am currently qualified to work on jobs paying 20/ hour, which is half of what I normally earn in my field, I thought teaching AI might be something I could get into as I have decades of experience in the accounting and finance field. The next round of tests it asks me to complete are purely coding. I know zero about coding. I have tried to find info on them with little success.
