Nurse transitioning to tech?

Hey all! My nurse friend is interested in picking up an informatics/computer science degree to pivot from her current role. Have any nurses/healthcare specialists pivoted into a role and leveraged their healthcare background? It'd be great for her to get some inspiration from this wonderful FGB community! Thank you.

    My mom formerly did health informatics. She stared off as a RN and continued on to earn a MPH. Their strong suggestion is earn an informatics certification particularly a master certificate program or just out right earn as masters if you gain funding. Otherwise there are health care opportunities usually through healthcare insurance companies such Blue Cross -Blue Shield. Although she did not earn informatics certification my mom fell into it through their government job with the State of California.
