This tech company is big too. Not sure if this is a good thing or if I should be skeptical that we’re looking at layoffs down the line .

    I used to work for a big tech company, and a hiring rush usually meant they had just signed a big contract they needed to staff up for. If the contract is short-term, it is possible, but if the project will take a couple of years to complete, and has a renewal option, you may be ok. I would ask about the "why" for the hiring rush.
