Need some career changing advice. I have an MBA and PHR certification. During Covid I was working as a Sr. HR Generalist/Recruiter but it ended during a mass layoff. I took a new role as a recruiter just to keep working and I hate it. It seems that salaries for all HR positions have dropped over the last few years - jobs that were $100k are now paying $70K. I'd like to just leave the field but what can I get into that is still paying well? I'm in my 50's so really can't be starting over from scratch without losing my house.
